The blocked user's page is broken.
Quote: Server Error in '/' Application. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". | | | Erik

| Posted: | | | | So as I feared we now have a user who is voting outside of the Rules, and has decided to engage in a personal vendetta in an attempot to get his way. And blocked his PM's so that he can in effect operate undercover of a white sheet.

So I'm not alone with this error. I have never been able to enter the blocked user's page. I have already sent a support request four days ago to IVS. That message is still in queue. Also no reply to direct e-mail to Ken. But hey, I'm not saying the response time is too long. I have time to wait, but just when it comes a day when I really want to block some user's sending me PM, then I start demanding faster response.

I hope, Skip, that your message is really a joke. This error is, however user account dependable, but you can't blame me for voting outside of the Rules.
Erik, have you ever been able to enter the blocked user's page? |

I was able to use it initially, but tried it yesterday after seeing your message & found I got the same error. Still occurring today. And before anybody suggests it I have tried clearing my browser cache and I have tried alternative browswers. | | | Nick

Well I did at least manage to block & unblock somebody, as I tested it with Unicus to see how it worked. | | | Nick

My message was NOT a joke, we have Rules and they clearly state how you are to make Contributions and VOTE. There is NO excuse for voting outside of the Rules...ever.

Skip
Sometimes it looks like you don't even read the messaged you quote!
From your previous message we got the assumption that it is some kind of punishment that some of us can not use the Blocked Users feature.
Of course there is no excese for voting outside the Rules, but what has that to do with the current issue? |

| Posted: | | | | Skip,
My previous reply ("I hope, Skip, that your message is really a joke...") was really a response to your posting at 8:19PM (my time zone). That message gave me an assumption that Erik (pplchamp) had his punishment when he got this error with Blocked Users. And since I'm suffering from the same error as Erik, I took it personally.... assuming that you were originally replying to Erik at all.
Did I misunderstood your message at 8:19PM? Did you reply to Erik's message?
Jykke..
PS. Maybe IVS should use unified time stamps for these postings, it should be easier to refer to a certain message. Now we see the time stamps in our local time. |
