| | Posted: | | | | I think what we need is a definition of a box set.
A box set contains two or more items that could be sold separately (even if they never have been).
- A movie box set (Star Wars Trilogy) - A TV series box set (The Muppet Show - Season One)
Not a box set.
- Any single disk (except a flipper with two movies) - A movie spread over two disks (Lord of the Rings - Extended Edition) - A single item + one or more disks of Extras connected to it.
As a case type, Box Set can only be used to describe any packaging that contains a Box Set. The individual profiles for the contents of the Box Set could then describe the actual type of case used (digipack, keep case...).
To call a case a box set, that doesn't contain a Box Set makes no sense. |

I just don't think people should start running around changing every thing that's more then a naked keep case to box set.
Not much point changing something that didn't quite fit to something else that's wrong only to have to go back and change it again when case types get upgraded.
As you say Patience. |

There is no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots. The downside of being better than everybody else is that people tend to assume you're pretentious. |

| | Posted: | | | | | What do you call those thin versions of keep cases that sometimes come in box sets??? They are about half the thickness of regular single keep cases and have clear plastic sleeves for the covers to be slipped into like regular keep cases. | | | | My Collection |

Quote: What do you call those thin versions of keep cases that sometimes come in box sets? I always check them as keep cases ... Once they are grown up, I'm quite sure they will look like a regular adult keep case.
It's almost the same with these cases that look like keep cases but are about twice as thick as a regular keep case ... still a keep case, having forgotten to do some exercises | | | ZZ -- "It sounds like English, but I can't understand a word you're saying" DVD Profiler Community Portal | | | | Last edited: by Michael_ZZ |

Thin pack is the usual term, I believe. | | | Ken Hershberger Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. I’d like you to take a look at this gun.
