It's like a keep case, but thicker, and with more "openings" like a book... I would still call it a keep case, but others would probably call it custom (the most widely abused casetype in DVDP)... | | | If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If it stays away, it was never yours to begin with. If it just lies on the couch all day, drinking beer and watching television, you probably married it! |

What would you class an M-Lock case as? (Hoping you know what this is coz I can't provide any pictures.)
Personally I would say Custom... but others seem to think Keep Case... which is it to be? | | | Gavin.

This case is made by Nexpak, the same makers of the SLIM, Amaray, and THINpak dvd cases. This is a variation on the ALPHApak, commonly referred to as "Alpha". I'm not positive but it looks like you have the 5 disc variation.
However, it's still considered a keepcase. |

M-lock cases are also made by Nexpak and is considered a keepcase. I presume you might have the SLIM case?
Nexpak SLIM 3,4,5
Here are a few more M-lock cases from Nexpak Europe

| | Posted: | | | | Here are a couple more steel/tin cases that could be classified as custom but are worth mentioning:
Viva Metal Box by VIVA Magnetics (Dune EE, Halo 2, etc.)
Steelbook by Scanavo (Appleseed, etc.) |

Viva Metal Box by VIVA Magnetics (Dune EE, Halo 2, etc.) Some would want to list this as a Keep Case because the interior is the same. Since it is metal and different from a Keep Case on the outside, I would agree and call this a Custom Case.

| | Posted: | | | | | Could you change the clamshell examples? Your example is really a keepcase, albeit a non-standard one.. A clamshell is a disk holder literally shaped like a clamshell. | | | | Last edited: by EPKJ |

No I'm not going to change the Clamshell example. That is a Clamshell case. Look closer and you will see that it closes like a clamshell (one side fitting inside the other). These work the same way the old Disney VHS cases did.
What you are describing is a custom case.
