Jewel (cd-style)

That is what I was talking about, people still might just stick the CD-style jewel cases on the shelf, and store the tin.  It is a standard cd case, that is removable from the tin packaging.  However, I won't submit any profiles changing those to "jewel" from "custom."

Anyone get the film Fat Man & Little Boy today?

It's a Paramount release, and they use the Keep Case. However, it's one that I haven't seen before.

There are two little "latches" that you pull down to open the case. I didn't notice them at first, and thought I missed one of the "security wrappers" because I couldn't open the #$%&$&%& case!    But then I saw these two ittle little tabs that said "open" and Whoa!!! It opened.

So it's a Keep Case, but a different kind.

Universal has used the latching keepcase for several things.  My copy of Undercover Brother is like that.  I don't liek them, so not happy to see them catching on with other studios.

Funny. I just checked my copy of Undercover Brother, and it's a standard keep case. How long have you had your copy?

Several of the new releases have these newsecurity devices on them. You probably cut through it and quickly ripped it off and threw it away but there should have been a red "Security Devise Enclosed" sticker on that portion of the case that says:

"To Open: Remove This Label, Pull Tabs, Twist Off & Discard"

It will also have arrows pointing toward the tabs.

For clarification purposes I have added a note about Digipak/Hub Case Types. For the time being they should be considered interchangeable in DVD Profiler.

The Correct term is "Digipak" but there is no "Digipak" selection and we have been using the "Hub" case type for this.

When this is changed in a future version of DVD Profiler we should all choose "Digipak" for these cases.

This is nice and all, but couldn't you shrink those pictures, I think a dial-up connection won't be able to handle them.
Horido!

They are the same size and resolution as the High res images in the premium program. They should load quickly.

Besides, I had my sister test it and she's on dial up. It took well under a minute.

In the end, I felt that it was more important for people to clearly see these images than to have an instant download.

I have added new pictures for "Book" type cases. This is made by "Digipak".

I see. Just like a normal digistack, but with an outer cardboard cover.

No, it's quite different.  instead of all the pages being in a long strip you fold out, they're all attached by one edge to a binding a you flip through them, like the pages of a book.
