Only got American Dreams as well. Didn't get an error notification of the OC. Try that one again. Approved American Dreams already.

The OC Season two has been submitted.  While there is no DVD set to put this against yet, it will be coming out this fall.  This way you'll be able to add it right away

Would it be OK to use this facility for the occasional box set like the Doris Day/Rock Hudson collection, or the Pink Panther collection, which leaves no satisfactory way within the usual DVD Profiler system to give details on different movies, since the sets do not feature individual packaging of discs?

Why not just add the individual profiles to your database? The should be available (I know the Doris Day/Rock Hudson ones are). Just because you cant contribute them doesn't mean you cant have them.

I say leave the TV Episode Guide site alone. Addicted, AJM, and many others have worked too hard to start mucking things up with box sets, Double feature DVDs, etc.

I never gave it a thought about the movie boxsets. I can see how it would be helpful in some of the cases... with the sets that don't have an overview of each movie on the back of the box.

If you are talking about putting them on the site... I couldn't say yes or no myself... it is Andy's (ajm) site... he is the only one to answer that... as far as I see it atleast.

I see we already have one that wouldn't want to see movies on the site... My honest opinion.. would be if Andy wants to add the movie boxset guides... I would like to see them be done on a seperate page but have a link to each other on each page.

I guess movie boxsets are an idea. Especially things, which have 2 on the same disc, or 2 discs in 1 box.

Its about time I did some more work on the epg pages, so doing this wouldn't be an issue.

If you want to submit some now, can you ensure that you set the 'season/series' to 'movie boxset' and maybe put the same thing in the notes as well. Will help me later once the code does whatever it needs to do to do it properly.

While it isn't my site, I vote to leave it only for TV series episode guides.  What karlpov is looking for is supposidly going to be available for version 2.5.0.  This is being discussed in another thread.

There is a massive problem with boxsets, both movie and TV. Individual discs are not being handled the way many would like.

Hang in there, help is on the way.

Not an urgent matter, can certainly wait a few months. As I mentioned elsewhere recently, in addition to multi-disc sets, we are going to see more relatively reputable multi-movie discs in the near future. A collection of five of Bela Lugosi's best movies on one double-sided DVD is supposedly coming out in September.

Have Gun--Will Travel, The Complete Second Season (English)
Ken Hershberger
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
I’d like you to take a look at this gun. The balance is excellent, this trigger responds to a pressure of one ounce. This gun was handcrafted to my specifications—and I rarely draw it unless I mean to use it. --Paladin
