Edit: Lol, I got ahead of myself, Im not quite ready yet, I have only added the cast for the first two discs to the main profile, but Im on my way though | | | | | | Last edited: by Deadman36g |

| Posted: | | | | Hey Andy,
You might want to change the schema.sql in phpdvdprofiler so that the field "notes" is type text from the current varchar(250). Then it can look nice there as well ... | | | -fred |

| Posted: | | | | Fred, I was thinking that myself. I was going to email you about it later today. Might need some more work done on it as well. I was thinking it might look better in a scrolling window/box. Although until I've tested it who knows :-) | | | |

| Posted: | | | | Fred, well just changed my schema to 'text'. Just need to get it to rsync across the images, change the html so the image location works in dvdprofiler and in phpdvdprofiler and then also I'm probably going to have to change all the colours so not to become almost invisible in phpdvdprofiler. But apart from that, it looks pretty good | | | |

| Posted: | | | | It'll definitely look better in a scrolling window (it's frequently uncomfortably long). Also, for the ones I've looked at, I don't want to see the overview when I have the pretty notes ... maybe that's just a personal db decision to remove the overview ...
So, DVDPro displays the HTML notes out of its TEMP directory. To make things portable (and easier for JSP* to install ) an idea might be to define a directory like HTMLIMGS under the DVDPro TEMP directory and put all of the images in there. Then people wouldn't have to edit files, just install into a correct place ...
*JSP - from the insanely, endlessly bickering regions thread: Joe Six-Pack. Not a very nice way of referring to less technically accomplished people, is it | | | -fred |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah, I don't quite understand the color interaction with phpdvdprofiler (being color-blind does not assist me here ) If one does the images change I just suggested, I think that a simple <base> tag may make all of the stuff work in both places without having to get too creative and actually parse the notes' html ... | | | -fred | | | Last edited: by FredLooks |

| Posted: | | | | addicted, this has sure come a long way since the first introduction in the Overviews for TV Shows Box Sets thread. I remember getting some of your first samples for this
It looks great! (...and beats talking about regions ) I'll be downloading ther ones I own. Maybe, if/when I get around to it, I'll be adding one or two myself.
Keep it growing, guys! Ths makes DVD collecting fun again!
EDIT: addicted, should we have the little ColorDetector hosted on Andy's site too? If Andy doesn' mind, that is... | | | | | | Last edited: by ya_shin |
