Ooh, very nice! I've got Some & 3-Iron on the way, but I've not seen that one before. Where do you get it from? Can't find it!

The Japanese branch of 20th Century Fox have announced the April 15th release of Alien VS Predator: Special Monster Box ..... The SRP is a modest ¥29800 (approx $284.87) and can be bought from our good friends at CD Japan or for $413.99 from Yes Asia.

You can still pre-order it at
Amazon.co.jp for Yen 25,032 (approx. $240)
DVDetective for $264.99.

If you intended to order at Yes Asia for $413.99 (CD Japan no longer offers it), please PM me and I will send you my bank account number where you can pay my commission for the difference.

More seriously, Yes Asia is often over-priced. Use them only for OOP items you can't find anywhere else (and believe me you can always find somewhere else. I bought only once from them in 6-7 years and, even in that case, I was not patient enough as I found cheaper later)

It's on the German Amazon site.
Walk down the right back alley in Sin City, and you can find anything...

BTW: That Dawn of the Dead edition seems to be something the production company gave as a gift to some people, but is unfortunatly not available for the general public (from what I heard) so I am very sorry to have posted that

Nothing to be sorry about, I'm hunting for that kind of stuff too, so am pleased to hear about what exists. And, you know, most of the limited editions are not (or no longer) available to the general public either.

Another "confidential" release by production company:

AJ: These X-Files boxes are OOP for some times now, but they can be found every now and then on eBay.

JP_S: If only you could know what I still have in the pipe-line

Hey, what about a small gift for your wife (fiancee, girlfriend,...) to convince her that collecting DVD limited editions is not a trivial and frivolous thing....
