However, my complaint with the Powerhouse Films's releases is that someone will do the 4K UHD BD preorder but skip the regular BD when both are released. (I don't know because I only have the iOS version) | Posted: Topic Replies: 13, Topic Views: 581 | | As someone who is sent the BD versions of the Powerhouse Indicator discs, they're identical in terms of content, running times etc. in the USA and Germany, the users seem more altruistic and most things get put up. No one seems to out DVDs up and no one is really willing to help. I have about 200 DVDs and BDs from various UK companies that have sent me discs to review for Rewind / DVD Compare that are not in the database. About nine years ago a kind soul on here did about 75 titles that I had but since then only one person has offered, did about three then went silent.
The thing is, I can't upload the info coz I don't have a desktop version of DVD Profiler. The more complete the database is, the better it will be us. As to folks only doing ones for the discs they have; well, most are preorders so they don't have the discs yet and are going purely by the listings on Amazon. Hence my comment re the forthcoming Arrow Forbidden Planet being up already but none of the other six are. | Posted: Topic Replies: 13, Topic Views: 581 | | I'm only using iOS version and at the moment it's working fine. My complaint is this, why do people who add things not bother with the total lineup of titles in a release slate, certainly here in the UK? The US and Germany seem much better served by more community-minded users.
An example is the forthcoming Arrow slate for September. Six titles, but only the 4K disc of Forbidden Planet has been added. When Powerhouse Films put up new titles (2-4 per month) not all appear and the favour is the 4K versions. Surely, if someone is putting the 4K one up they could also do the standard BD as well? | Posted: Topic Replies: 13, Topic Views: 581 | | | This is a big ask I know, but I'll ask anyway.
