I agree with you as well and it's how US profiles always used to be profiled. We can also simply look at discs with only Bonus Materials as we don't create separate profiles for those discs. Those features are added to the main profile. The only exception is when a boxset has two or more films then film specific features get added to each individual film profile. Then we also add all disc IDs in the main profile when it comes to Combo releases.

You're just completely talking without any logic--first you say it's 2 or 3 people, then I show you literally in this thread it's much more than that, then you say who cares about a poll (once you've been proven wrong), then you starting about some example in some run-on sentence that is nonsenical. I also disagree with "most" of the remaining contributors putting everything into the parent profile--I only see you and 1 or 2 other people do it. You're floundering here buddy and making no sense--grasping at straws and hypothethicals while others are pointing to the actual rules.
If you include Blu-ray features on the UHD profile, but exclude Blu-ray audio and subtitle tracks, the metadata becomes inconsistent, which defeats the purpose of a profiling system to begin with. Although the child profile is optional, if the child profile is omitted, that’s just a user convenience choice, not a signal that the main profile should absorb the data. There is no logical extension that since the child profile is optional all the information should go there. There just isn't.
I disagree. An optional child profile is just that, optional, and it's not a user convenience choice to omit it. In fact, it's quite the opposite, it IS a user convenience to add the optional progile.
It's pointless to agrue this because you're always going to vote no against contributions that don't align with your preference. It's just disappointing that you also choose to vote on profiles that you don't even own.
The poll is also flawed because the only option you included is to list "all audio tracks" on the primary format which the rules are very clear about. For combo sets the audio tracks from the HD media are to be entered in the main profile. | Posted: Topic Replies: 55, Topic Views: 22070 |

I downloaded the profile in question, and it was clear to me the current back cover was not a slipcover scan but a scan of the internal keep case cover still inside the plastic jacket (500x588 pixels). The current front cover (500x625 pixels) was from the slipcover, but the black levels looked washed out like charcoal.

Neither of the existing images are mine and I believe the existing front cover may not be a scan. I did provide a comment... is there something wrong with what I left because that's never been a problem. No, the UPC matches and this is the version with the keepcase and slipcover. There is a different UPC for the Deluxe Boxset (hard chipboard box) that houses a digipak. There is also an Ultimate Limited Edition version with all the swag but it comes with the Deluxe Boxset.

Anyone have any insight on why my image contributions for Ignite Films 4K release of Bride of Re-Animator would be declined twice. Both times there were zero votes on the contribution. The first time the profile was accepted but the images were declined. I resubmitted the images only, but it's strangely showing images and profile (???) were declined. These are high quality scans of the slipcover and the wide retailer release doesn't get released until December 2026.

That's not what the rules state. When a release has the same film but on different media types, a child profile for the inferior media type is optional. All features are supposed to be included in the main profile, just like how you include the different media types in the main profile.
