Hi,

i dont know what happened. I did use it just yesterday, all good, close properly, no problems. Today i want to add a new DVD to the collection and received those errors (see images at: https://www.heimspiele.info/PC/?p=11115 ).

Trying to repair doesnt help, what can i do? If being able to start the program, i surely could download the collection, which i just uploaded monday.

Have you tried rebooting your PC?

I did not, because i didnt see how this error could be solved simply by a reboot ....it worked, lol!

thank you.

still, what is this kind of error and how could it happen, if there's nothing wrong (see reboot = no trouble anymore)?

I have no idea why this happens, but "access denied" suggests that the file is locked for some reason. And rebooting can often fix things like that.

Strictly speaking, this most likely is a Windows problem rather than a DVD Profiler problem. When one is faced with a Windows problem, rebooting should always be tried. "Have you tried closing the program and opening it again?" may be an old meme, but it often works. And when the program is Windows, rebooting is the way to do that.

A lesson learned from a life working with computers …
